Midnight Compartment

The story

It's a company trip on an overnight train, and a booking error drops you into the same compartment as your boss and his wife, Veronica, the woman you've always had your eye on. The boss grumbles about the mix-up. Veronica insists you stay, announces she's cold and tells you that you're her favorite, which is not what her husband believes. You can't lose this job and you can't be seen. In episode 2 the boss wakes from a nightmare, morning pulls into a station and a coffee errand opens a gap of a few minutes. Veronica needs help with luggage and reminds you what to call her: ma'am.

Where the heat comes from

Everything happens a few feet from a sleeping husband who also signs your paychecks. What makes it work is how close she keeps getting and how quiet you both have to be. The free part stays hushed: whispers, a blanket and a station clock.

Who it suits

For fans of risky, close-quarters flirting where the clock is the departure time and the biggest danger is the man sleeping nearby.
