The story
Nobody expects Eli to last long in this game. Players must reach the gate to win their freedom, and hunters who side with a player share his death. Delilah is the hunter assigned to him. She marches him inside at gunpoint, there's blood, and he mentions he's also a doctor. He offers a trade: a medic's care in exchange for a head start. She gives him five seconds and lets him run. Episode 2 is the fallout. Eli should be at the gate, but he came back for her. The order is clear: kill him in five seconds or both die, and she looks at him as the count falls.
Where the heat comes from
Trust under fire does the work: a hunter who's supposed to kill and a doctor who won't stop caring, with a countdown pushing them together. What's free is all chase and chemistry.
Who it suits
For anyone who wants romance inside a high-stakes survival game, with a reluctant killer and a doctor who keeps his nerve.
