The story
Saturday is Mom's milestone birthday, and her daughter has a surprise party in the works. First order of business is recruiting her stepdad, Mom's husband, to keep Mom busy elsewhere on party day. The guest list is long, and one name is Aunt Sarah, Mom's stepsister, whom she hasn't spoken to in years. Planning sessions turn into long looks, and the stepdad, three years into his marriage to her mother, admits to himself that his stepdaughter is hot. Episode 2 brings a purchase for Saturday that clearly isn't meant for the guests, a confession that she volunteered just to spend the week with him, and Mom arriving home early.
Where the heat comes from
A secret party gives cover to a second secret: a stepdad, a stepdaughter, and a week of planning with no one watching. Free episodes stay at glances, whispers and a guest room door; the rest waits behind tokens.
Who it suits
