My Roommate's Girlfriend

The story

Nate has no filter, a towel for a wardrobe and a sweet, dependable roommate named Ben. Ben's girlfriend Sadie stays every weekend, which means thin walls and a morning-after standoff in the kitchen. She tells Nate to move out. He tells her sweet isn't what she's after. She's annoyed because he might be right, so she keeps talking back. When Ben asks whether Sadie can stay all weekend, Nate agrees with a grin and promises to be waiting when Ben bores her. Episode 2 brings a kitchen scene at two in the morning: Sadie in a mood and dressed for much more than water, Nate demanding she say what she wants, and Ben asleep one wall away.

Where the heat comes from

Everything hinges on two people who can't stop provoking each other: insults that sound a lot like invitations, a nice guy one wall away, and a kitchen at night. Free viewing stays with banter and almost-moments.

Who it suits

Aimed at bickering almost-couples, brazen leads and anyone who enjoys the guilty thrill of a nice guy with no clue.
