Mona's Obsession

The story

Mona and her stepbrother can't stand each other, or so she says. She walks into his room without knocking and quizzes him about what he was watching, wondering aloud if she's better looking than whoever it was. Sent to drive Mona to the gym, he steps into her room on her say-so, finds her mid-change, and gets asked for a review. When he reminds her he has a girlfriend, Kaylee, she threatens to tell Kaylee they're having an affair. In episode 2 she turns up in his bathroom because her hot water is out, calls his soap irresistible, and borrows a shirt, just as Kaylee knocks, spots Mona's books on his shelf and starts asking questions.

Where the heat comes from

This is teasing as a sport: a stepsister who wins by pushing, a stepbrother who loses by caring, and a girlfriend always one hallway away. What the free episodes show is taunts, towels and borrowed clothes; the real payoff is gated.

Who it suits

Enemies-to-lovers tension from a mischievous tease who says one thing, does another and enjoys every second.
