The story
Mona is out on the street fighting for the planet when David honks at her from the car. Their parents are at work, he's meant to be looking after her, and he treats it like a free show. She calls him a creep and swears no girl would ever fall for him. He blames a raccoon on the road. The drive home ends in a draw, though Mona privately finds the attention a little flattering. Episode 2 hands them the dishes, a chore from Dad's new girlfriend. David offers a trade: wash up, and he'll take her clubbing. She refuses. He returns with a gift for the night out, and Mona calls him disgusting before asking if the outfit works.
Where the heat comes from
Classic enemies-to-lovers friction: she rolls her eyes at everything he does, he turns every insult into a compliment, and a shared house keeps them in range. In the free episodes it's bickering, dares and a night out that hasn't started yet.
Who it suits
For fans of bickering stepsiblings, where the heroine has strong opinions, the guy has more confidence than manners, and the banter is half the show.
