The Nuns Took Me In

The story

Caught in the forest as the sky comes down, he stumbles into a remote chapel and asks to shelter until the storm passes. One nun says they'll take him in, a little too eagerly, until her sister corrects her: he's safe here. He's soaked, so a gown is waiting. Over dinner they confess how long it's been since a man stayed, down to the month, and apologize in advance for whatever they've got in store for him this evening. In episode 2 he asks what exactly that is. Nothing, they insist, they were only praying. Lucia is told to show him he's wanted.

Where the heat comes from

The heat is comic hospitality: two nuns, one storm and a stranger who's told to ring the bell for anything. Free viewing stays with prayers, innuendo and a very awkward bedtime.

Who it suits

Fish-out-of-water comedy fans, this one's yours: a wrong turn in the woods, a storm-battered chapel and hosts who are far too welcoming.
