She's My Girlfriend's Little Sister

The story

The setup is simple and loaded: she's the sister of his girlfriend, and she has finally put her crush on paper. Episode 1 opens in a coffee shop just as he walks in and catches her scribbling in the notebook she won't let him see. Instead of teasing her about it, he admits he finds the habit kind of intimate, which only makes things worse. Then he confesses that his relationship has been strained, that the couple has floated the idea of opening it up, and that lately his thoughts keep drifting toward another woman. His girlfriend picks that moment to call.

Where the heat comes from

The tension is loyalty against desire. She promised herself her sister could trust her, he's dropping hints about an open relationship, and neither says the quiet part out loud. Episode 1 is all longing, glances and an unanswered phone.

Who it suits

Best for viewers who enjoy slow burn confessions, diary energy and a crush that might not be one sided.
