Room for Two

The story

A guy rents out his spare room to keep up with the mortgage, and by morning it's already taken by a woman who apparently won him over with very persuasive arguments. Then Sonia knocks, hears the room is gone, and asks him to hear her case before he says no. Episode 1 piles it on: the first tenant yells for a towel from the shower, his girlfriend calls to say she's leaving work early and coming by, and he admits on speaker that two women are competing for one room. Sonia makes it clear she plans to outbid her rival before the girlfriend walks through the door.

Where the heat comes from

The clock does the work here: two rivals, one lease and a girlfriend on her way. It's a comedy of bad timing that keeps things suggestive in the free episodes, with the bidding war's real payoff kept for paid ones.

Who it suits

Ideal for anyone who likes farce, competition and a hapless host stuck between two determined tenants.
