Isabella's Revelation

The story

Isabella is a reporter with a strict routine and a faith she takes seriously. At home she tells her mother about the thoughts that visit her in her sleep, and her mother tells her to send them away. Her next assignment is a late interview with Manalo, the rock star everyone has an opinion about, at his hotel. He's relaxed, notices she's the only reporter who doesn't gawk, and tells her not to fight whatever she's feeling. She flinches. Episode 2 opens in confession, where she admits she wanted what she knew was wrong, and then Manalo asks her to be his and shows her where he lives, a place that already has other company in it.

Where the heat comes from

Her conscience is the forbidden line: shame and faith on one side, a musician who treats rules as optional on the other. It's guilt against curiosity, and what's free sticks to glances, dares and nerve.

Who it suits

Slow-burn fans of forbidden-by-conscience stories and rebel musicians will enjoy a heroine torn between what she was taught and what she wants.
