I Couldn't Say No to Our Babysitter

The story

Mrs. Hartley is asleep upstairs when Mila realizes her date isn't coming. Her employer, Mr. Hartley, who is very married and very decent, offers to drive her home. In the car she says how rare it is for a man to follow through, and that she wishes she had someone like him. He reminds her about his wife. She asks him in anyway, saying she has something for Mrs. Hartley. In episode 2 she changes into the outfit she'd planned for that date and asks what he thinks. He knows he should leave. Home calls at the worst possible moment.

Where the heat comes from

A ride, a stood-up date and a wedding ring that suddenly feels loud. Most of the heat sits in what he doesn't say, and the free episodes keep to stairwells and pauses before anyone decides anything.

Who it suits

Try it for the guilty-pleasure drama: a good man testing his own rules, and a sweet, direct sitter who knows what she wants.
